, associate professor in the within the , has been selected for the J. William Fulbright Scholarship award to conduct research in Mozambique.听
鈥淚t is an honor to receive the J. William Fulbright Scholarship award,鈥 said Caldieron. 鈥淚 look forward to my time in Mozambique and the lasting effects it will have on the institutions related to this award, on my own research, and especially how it will benefit students.鈥
His research interests are integration of structures with architectural design education, upgrading of self-built urban settlements, shantytown dynamics, and open buildings structures.
