抖M女仆's Division of Research Affiliates with DKJA
within has entered into an agreement with the to permit DKJA high school students who are interested in engineering, computer science, and technology to participate in tours, seminars and research training opportunities on the 抖M女仆 campus.
The DKJA Engineering Program, which will begin in August, will be offered to students enrolled in an engineering and science-based curriculum at DKJA鈥檚 Claire and Emanuel G. Rosenblatt High School. The affiliation with I-SENSE will allow these students the opportunity to visit research laboratories, attend seminars and engage with current students and faculty. Participants also will be able to design individual and group projects, conduct research and participate in an on-campus showcase to present their work.
鈥淚dentifying impactful ways to engage with our community and to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists is a core tenet of our mission,鈥 said Jason Hallstrom, Ph.D., director of I-SENSE. 鈥淥ur partnership with the Donna Klein Jewish Academy will create opportunities for DKJA students to be inspired by 抖M女仆鈥檚 thought leaders, and for our thought leaders to in turn be inspired by the coming generation.鈥澛
Students in the program will be required to take a minimum of two years of engineering courses and one year of computer science courses at Rosenblatt High School. After one full year of participation in the 抖M女仆 program, students who have successfully completed all requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion and Academic Excellence in the Engineering Program.
