Osher LLI at 抖M女仆 Jupiter Presents 2020 Presidential Election Lectures

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at 抖M女仆 in Jupiter will present two lectures by Kevin Wagner, Ph.D., a professor of political science at 抖M女仆, on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at noon and Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9:30 a.m., in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute complex at 抖M女仆鈥檚 John D. MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Dr., in Jupiter.
鈥淩ace for the White House鈥 will give an in-depth look at how the presidential race is developing. Wagner will explore the movements and transitions in the run for president by reviewing the changes in political media, parties, interest groups and public opinion.
鈥淭he Politics of Primaries鈥 will examine the nature and history of the presidential selection process. Using visuals and the latest political events, Wagner will explore what it takes to win a nomination to be president.
Wagner received a M.A., Ph.D. and a J.D. from the University of Florida. One of the leading authorities on the effects of technology on politics and campaigning, he has lectured extensively on American politics and has been cited in many leading newspapers including The New York Times, Washington Post and Boston Globe. He has also been featured on NBC鈥檚 鈥淭he Today Show.鈥
