抖M女仆鈥檚 College of Business sport management MBA program is among the best in the world, according to the latest rankings from SportBusiness International.
More than 70 percent of 抖M女仆's 30,000 students take classes at 抖M女仆's first and largest campus and the majority of the University's 175+ degree programs are based here. 抖M女仆鈥檚 College of Business sport management MBA program is among the best in the world, according to the latest rankings from SportBusiness International.The program was ranked sixth internationally and fifth in North America out of more than 600 graduate-level programs worldwide. SportBusiness International鈥檚 Postgraduate Sports Course Rankings, which compiled the rankings, is the only internationally recognized annual review of the world鈥檚 top university-level sports management courses.
鈥淭o make the Top 10 is an amazing testament to our alumni, students, faculty and the College of Business and 抖M女仆 administrations,鈥 said James Riordan, Ph.D., director of 抖M女仆鈥檚 MBA in Sport Management.
The leading magazine covering the global industry of sport, London-based SportBusiness International launched its postgraduate sports course rankings of the world鈥檚 top sports management courses in 2012. Only postgraduate-level courses that are 100 percent related to the business and administration of sport, and have been running for at least three consecutive years, are considered.
This marks the third consecutive year 抖M女仆鈥檚 sport management MBA program has been ranked in the top 10 in the world. Launched in 2000, 抖M女仆鈥檚 program is recognized for its intensive industry-based curriculum, which requires industry-related employment of all students from day one to graduation. In addition, all faculty members have significant experience in the field of sport management.
抖M女仆 sport management alumni have gone on to have careers with the Miami Dolphins, ESPN, Florida Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Heat, New York Yankees, Juventus FC, the Miami Marlins, and numerous university athletic departments.
The sport management program is the first Florida-based program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and the second sport management program to be AACSB-accredited in the nation.
